In a recent survey, In-N-Out Burger has been recognized for having the happiest employees among major restaurant chains in the U.S.
A financial services company, William Blair, analyzed Glassdoor data spanning 11 years, reviewing 530,000 evaluations of around 90 restaurant brands, as reported by Nation's Restaurant News.
The study revealed that 91% of In-N-Out employees would recommend their job to a friend.
George Charlesworth, the vice president of operations at In-N-Out Burger, expressed gratitude for the high satisfaction rating, attributing it to the company's commitment to quality products and friendly service established by its founders.
In-N-Out Burger, based in California, has consistently ranked high in employee satisfaction surveys, with 91% of workers willing to recommend their jobs to others.
In 2024, 86% of In-N-Out employees were open to recommending their job to others, reflecting the company's efforts to provide a positive work environment, competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities.
Charlesworth praised the leadership of In-N-Out's owner and president, Lynsi Snyder, and emphasized the importance of upholding the company's values and practices to ensure customer satisfaction.
Raising Cane's, a Louisiana-based chicken restaurant, secured the second spot in the survey, with 82% of employees indicating they would recommend their job to a friend.
Dutch Bros. claimed the third position, followed by Chuy's in fourth place, and Peet's Coffee & Tea from the San Francisco Bay area rounding out the top five.
