Former host of The View, Rosie O'Donnell, suggested that the daytime opinion show might be canceled soon due to what she perceives as liberal bias. O'Donnell expressed these views in a TikTok post, claiming that ABC was reviewing the show's supposed liberal leaning.

A recent study by the Media Research Center revealed that The View had hosted 102 liberal guests in 2025 without featuring any conservatives in political discussions. O'Donnell countered the bias claims, stating that the review was a pretext for canceling the show, alleging that ABC was eliminating programs not aligned with "Trumpism."

O'Donnell, who previously moderated The View in 2006-2007, has a history of disputes with Donald Trump dating back to the early 2000s. She criticized the current political climate, suggesting that conservative viewpoints were being suppressed and that The View's content was too truthful for some audiences.

In a separate TikTok post, O'Donnell accused both ABC and CBS of yielding to Trump through legal settlements related to on-air comments made by their personalities. She criticized what she perceived as an attempt to silence dissenting voices under the guise of seeking balance.

O'Donnell, known for her ongoing feud with Trump, characterized the current media environment as stifling opposing opinions and likened it to a dictatorship with polished presentation. She questioned who would challenge the status quo if The View were to be canceled, emphasizing the importance of outspoken women in media discourse.

An insider refuted claims that The View excludes conservative perspectives, stating that the show actively seeks diverse viewpoints without divulging specific details about its booking process. ABC was contacted for comment but has not responded to inquiries regarding the matter.
