In the final moments of regulation time, with the Giants trailing 34-30, Wilson threw a 48-yard pass to Malik Nabers, putting New York back in the lead. Wilson's gesture towards the sky after the play drew attention, and fans expressed their excitement online.
Wilson set a career-high record of 451 passing yards during the game. However, Dallas responded to Wilson's performance by tying the game with a 64-yard field goal from Brandon Aubrey as time expired.
In overtime, Wilson threw a crucial interception, giving Dallas the opportunity to secure victory with a 46-yard field goal from Aubrey. This sealed the win for the Cowboys, marking their first victory of the season under new coach Brian Schottenheimer.
