Newcastle keen on Elanga with fresh £55m offer.
Newcastle Make Improved Offer for Nottingham Forest Winger
Newcastle United have made an improved offer of around £55m for Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga. This offer follows a previous bid worth approximately £45m that was rejected by Forest last week.
Forest value Elanga at £60m and have shown no willingness to sell him. The winger is reportedly interested in Newcastle's project, while manager Eddie Howe believes he can enhance their attacking options.
Newcastle's interest in Elanga has been ongoing, and they had previously attempted to sign him on deadline day last summer but saw their offer of £50m turned down. After the initial bid was rejected, Newcastle explored other options, including Johan Bakayoko at PSV, Karim Adeyemi at Borussia Dortmund, and Mohammed Kudus at West Ham.
Sky Sports has reported that the Premier League coverage on their platform will increase from 128 matches to at least 215 games next season, with 80 percent of televised Premier League games being shown on Sky Sports.
