Stars Shine at MTV VMAs: Gaga, Grande, Carpenter Pay Tribute
Stars including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Blackpink's Rose, and Mariah Carey were highlighted at this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
Lady Gaga stood out at the VMAs, winning four awards, including artist of the year. Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter also had a successful night, each taking home three awards. The event was dominated by female artists, except for Bruno Mars, who won for his collaborations with Gaga and Blackpink's Rose.
Mariah Carey received her first-ever VMA award, followed shortly by a second when she was honored with the Video Vanguard award. A tribute was also paid to the late Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July. Yungblud and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry performed Black Sabbath classics in his memory, introduced by Jack Osbourne and his four daughters.
