Titans end losing streak with dramatic win against Cardinals

The Tennessee Titans defeated the Arizona Cardinals 22-21 in an NFL game on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in Glendale, Arizona. The Titans, led by quarterback Cam Ward, made an impressive fourth-quarter comeback, ending a 10-game losing streak. Joey Slye sealed the victory with a 29-yard field goal as time expired.

The Cardinals were ahead 21-6 in the fourth quarter when running back Emari Demercado fumbled the ball just before reaching the end zone, costing his team a potential touchdown. This mistake allowed the Titans to take possession and capitalize on the opportunity, scoring a touchdown through Tony Pollard's 1-yard run, bringing the score to 21-12.

Despite missing the extra point, the Titans continued to pressure the Cardinals. A fumble recovery by Titans' Tyler Lockett in the end zone following an interception narrowed the gap to 21-19 with 4:51 remaining in the game.

The Cardinals had a chance to secure the win but failed to do so. After punting to the Titans with two minutes left, the Titans capitalized on a 38-yard pass from Ward to Calvin Ridley, setting up Slye's game-winning field goal.

Ridley finished the game with five catches for 131 yards. Injuries affected both teams, with Titans' WR Calvin Ridley and RB Tyjae Spears active, while Cardinals' CB Max Melton, OL Evan Brown, and DL Darius Robinson were among the inactives.

The Titans will face the Las Vegas team on Sunday, October 12, while the Cardinals will play against Indianapolis on the same day.
