Two English footballers sign with Turkish team Pendikspor

Former Rotherham United player Jonson Clarke-Harris and ex-Sheffield Wednesday player Mallik Wilks have signed two-year contracts with Turkish second-tier team Pendikspor.

Clarke-Harris, aged 30, departed Rotherham United earlier this month by mutual agreement. He scored eight goals in 33 matches during his recent time with the club, having scored a total of 18 goals in 112 appearances across two stints with Rotherham United.

Wilks, aged 26, was on loan at Rotherham last season, where he scored 10 goals in 45 games. He joins Pendikspor after being released by Sheffield Wednesday this summer, following his participation in 42 matches across all competitions since joining the club in 2022.
