Tyson Fury Supports Jake Paul to Beat Anthony Joshua
Tyson Fury has expressed his opinion on a potential fight between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul, suggesting that Joshua would be defeated by the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Fury, aged 36, retired from boxing in January after losing consecutive matches to heavyweight champion Usyk. However, he is now hinting at a return to the ring in 2026, fueling speculation about a potential showdown with Joshua.
Joshua, aged 35, has also been linked to a fight with Paul recently. Fury believes that a match with Paul could be a challenging warm-up for Joshua before a potential British super-fight.
Fury stated to Ring Magazine, "I don't know about tune-ups, I think Jake Paul knocks him out. I just think Jake Paul would knock AJ out. I think AJ is a spent force, and Jake Paul is on the rise."
Jake Paul has previously defeated a former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson. However, facing Joshua, who is recovering from a loss to Dubois and recent surgery for an elbow injury, presents a different challenge.
Turki Alalshikh, a Saudi adviser involved in boxing, has mentioned the possibility of a match between Joshua and Paul. Alalshikh expressed that the outcome of such a fight would determine the future paths of both fighters in the boxing world.
