Woman in Christian Horner scandal shifts to new motorsport role

The woman involved in the scandal linked to Christian Horner last year has left Red Bull and taken on a new role in motorsport.

Referred to as the 'female employee' in media reports, she accused then Red Bull team principal Horner of inappropriate and coercive sexual behavior. Her identity remains undisclosed for legal reasons.

Horner, who is married to former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, was cleared of misconduct following two investigations by KCs. After 20 years leading Red Bull to 14 world titles, the 51-year-old executive recently departed without a clear reason and is in negotiations for a severance package potentially worth £60 million.

The woman, central to the scandal involving former F1 team principal Christian Horner, has left Red Bull for a new role in motorsport. Horner, aged 51, exited Red Bull after two decades, despite being cleared of misconduct allegations.

Although her claims were dismissed, the woman continued to be on Red Bull's payroll for some time before transitioning to a new position. Last March in Bahrain, the paddock was stirred by an anonymous email containing suggestive text messages allegedly exchanged between Horner and the employee.

Horner was absent from the F1 paddock at the Belgian Grand Prix for the first time in 17 years, watching from home as Red Bull's Max Verstappen finished fourth.
