Wordle #1497 Friday Hints & Answer - Solve with Tips

TGIF! It's Friday, and it's the last Friday of July. Competitive Wordle players, remember it's 2XP Friday, so you can double your points. Next Friday will be the 1st of August. Let's focus on solving today's Wordle puzzle!

Wordle is a daily word puzzle game where players guess a hidden five-letter word in six tries or fewer. Each guess provides feedback to help players get closer to the answer. The game is played worldwide, and some players engage in Competitive Wordle against friends, family, or the Wordle Bot.

Today's Wordle clue is that the word has more consonants than vowels. Spoiler alert: the answer is coming up!

It was a challenging Wordle today. Even with starting with the word "CRANE," it took me five tries to solve it. Luckily, I managed to narrow down the possibilities and guess the correct word. Surprisingly, the Wordle Bot also took six tries today, which is uncommon. Despite not scoring points on 2XP Friday, I managed to take the lead in our ongoing competition.

The word "gofer" originated in American English in the 1950s to describe a junior employee or assistant who runs errands for others. It is unrelated to the animal "gopher," despite the similar spelling causing confusion. Stay tuned for more puzzle-solving guides, TV show and movie reviews, and other content on this blog!
