WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night One: Matches, Time & Odds

WWE SummerSlam 2025 is a two-night event for the first time in its history, starting on Saturday. Night One features CM Punk challenging World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in a singles match at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with an expected attendance of nearly 50,000 fans.

Roman Reigns will compete for the fourth time in 2025, and country singer Jelly Roll will participate in a celebrity tag team match with Randy Orton.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night One is on Saturday, Aug. 2, airing exclusively on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix internationally. The event will also be shown live in select Regal Cinemas across the U.S. on Aug. 2 and Aug. 3 in partnership with Fandango. WWE will have a three-hour pre-show on Peacock before the event.

Night One includes six matches, with three title bouts. Betting odds for SummerSlam Saturday have been set by BetUS.

There is speculation about Seth Rollins possibly returning at SummerSlam to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on either Punk or Gunther. The main event could see Punk narrowly defeating Gunther, with Rollins potentially cashing in on the winner.

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso are expected to win their tag team match. Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill are set to face off, with Cargill likely to end Stratton's reign as WWE Women's Champion.

Jelly Roll, replacing Travis Scott, will team up with Randy Orton against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. Orton is likely to secure a win with an RKO on Paul, gaining media attention for WWE.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair will continue as a team, with Flair possibly becoming more popular as a babyface. They are expected to be crowned champions at SummerSlam.

Kross and Sami Zayn will have a rubber match, with Zayn favored to win, potentially leading to a world title push later in the year.
